Ryan graduated from The Art Institute of Washington in 2011 with a BFA in Video Game Art & Design. He went on to work as QA Tester for Bethesda Softworks, testing Skyrim, and some of the DLCs that had yet to be released at the time. After his contract was up, he ended up working for a company that taught after-school technology classes at schools across the DMV area, and that became where he found his love for working with kids.
Ryan joined the RCC team in June 2022 as a Club Programmer. His main responsibilities included creating and teaching fun activities and experiments for the kids, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Since then school age has done many experiments over the summer, and restructured their After-School clubs and activities. It has been a fun ride with School Age so far and he hopes to continue that trend in a Director role along with Andrew.
