Executive Director: Terri Green

Terri joined the staff of RCC in 2021, as an Executive Director. Terri has a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Interior Design. She is also a Certified Reading Specialist and is a member of the Cognia national accreditation review team. Terri has over 35 years working in the field of education, holding multiple positions including various stages of teaching to director and executive level roles.

Throughout her vast experience, Terri has added different courses and programs for children to receive more opportunities and experiences in education. Terri is passionate about ensuring that each child is provided with the opportunities to best succeed. Her passion doesn’t end in the classroom Terri is an advocate for the industry, working with community groups at State and Local level.

In her role with RCC, Terri is determined to continue to educate herself in the field and help identify areas and opportunities that will best support RCC and our families.

Terri lives in Ashburn, VA with her husband Kevin and has 4 children of her own.

Program Director, Infant and Toddler Program: Ashley Taylor

Ashley earned a degree in Communications from Wake Forest University and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development. Ashley joined RCC in 2010, before becoming Infant & Toddler Program Director she held the roles as Infant & Toddler Lead Teacher and Infant & Toddler Program Coordinator.

Program Director, Preschool Programs: Amanda Freeman

Amanda earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University. Amanda joined RCC in 2008, before becoming Preschool Program Director Amanda held roles as a Part Day Preschool teacher, School Age Summer Camp counselor, Kindergarten teacher and Preschool Curriculum Coordinator.

Program Director, School Age Programs: Shanen Elliott

Shanen earned dual degrees in Sports Management and Psychology at Virginia Tech after growing up and attending schools in Reston. Shanen has been a proud member of the RCC staff since 2002. He enjoys his role as Preschool PE Teacher and as the School Age Program and Summer Camp Director since 2007.

Director of Facility Operations:  Brian Raubacher

Brian has worked as the Director of the Extended Day Program at St. Marks Catholic School, and as an Assistant Manager for the Breckenridge Child Care Center. Brian joined RCC in 2006, before becoming School Age Curriculum Director, he held the roles as Summer Camp counselor, Before and After School Program Staff, and Summer Camp Field Trip/Floor Coordinator and Summer Camp Program Coordinator.

Executive Administrator: Maribel Watson

Maribel earned a degree in Business Administration in Lima Peru. Maribel joined RCC in Spring 2017.  She moved from Peru in 2007, and lived in Portland Oregon for nine years, before moving to Virginia.  Maribel worked in Banking for over 15 years being her last position as Branch Manager and Trainer Advisor in Peru. She studied English as a second language in Portland Community College.  Maribel worked as a bilingual secretary in an Elementary School.  Before becoming Executive Administrator, she held role as Administrative Assistant for more than 5 years.
