INFANT PROGRAM
Peace of mind for new parents
Dropping off your infant at any child care center can be a nerve-wracking experience. RCC teachers understand this and strive to make it as easy as possible for you and your family.
Our infant program welcomes children aged six weeks to 12 months. Our infant area includes cozy areas, open crawling spaces, and toys to explore – all designed with an infant’s perspective in mind. Bright colors and soft furniture are all around the dedicated infant room, with low windows that allow infants to enjoy the sights and sounds outside. In a separate area, there are rocking chairs and cribs for each child. All children are on their own schedule, with feeding and naptime as needed. We invite parents to visit or feed their child during the day.
Our low child-to-teacher ratio provides plenty of one-on-one time with each child, helping them grow, encouraging their curious minds and leading them to the next stage of discovery. Teachers introduce activities focused on language development and encourage play with cause-and-effect or fine motor skill toys to develop children’s senses and skills.
I knew we made the right choice in RCC the first time our oldest daughter cried because she had to leave school and come home. The teachers and the staff at RCC are unparalleled in their kindness, compassion and love for all of our children. They are our girls' extended family and we are so grateful for all that they do.
