RCC is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, and meets the strict accreditation standards of both the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)  and the National AfterSchool Association (NAA).

NAEYC bestows accreditation to children's centers that achieve the highest professional standards in all aspects of their programs. RCC was first accredited by NAEYC in 1988, and has been reaccredited every three years since. NAA's accreditation is given to high-quality school age child-care programs. RCC was one of the first programs in Virginia to receive NAA's accreditation in 2005.

These accreditations are significant achievements, and we are justifiably proud of them.
