Reston Childrens Center provides infant and toddler care, preschool and private kindergarten education and school-age and summer camp enrichment in a secure, nurturing environment for families in Reston and the surrounding communities.
Samantha always has a smile on her face when I bring her in the building and never wants to leave. RCC is much more than a childcare facility, it is a family.
Its hard to turn over your little person to the care of anyone else, but since its a necessity for many of us, I cant imagine a better place than Reston Childrens Center. We researched and visited several places, and none had the immediate comfort level or the credentials of RCC.
Reston Childrens Center accommodated our part-time schedule when we first enrolled our daughter, and after seeing how happy she was there, made it even easier to switch to full time a year later. Were proud to be RCC parents.
Its not as hard going to work each day knowing that my three sons will be nurtured, enriched, and loved by the teachers and staff at RCC. From the program directors, classroom teachers, and support staff, you can feel love and caring from every RCC adult for each of your children.
Reston Children's Center (RCC) Celebrate 46 Years of Providing Childcare in the Reston Community!
Reston Children’ s Center strives to be your child’ s home away from home, offering professional care in a loving and nurturing atmosphere. Established in 1967, shortly after Reston itself was established, RCC has been serving local children and their families ever since.
We provide infant and toddler care, preschool education, before- and after-school enrichment for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, private kindergarten and summer camp for schoolage children. Class sizes are limited and the teachers and administrators are dedicated seasoned professionals. Staff turnover is remarkably low, with more than half of RCC staff serving 10 years or more.
RCC is a not-for-profit parent-owned cooperative under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. With parents composing the entire board of directors and the many committees that support RCC, there is never any question that children and their families come first. This unique structure also creates an unparalleled teacher/parent partnership dedicated to the education and development of your child.
We invite you to browse our website to learn more about RCC, and more important, we encourage you to arrange a tour to see for yourself what makes RCC such a special place.
